Modern teleology is
A form of critique of what is there, a report on unsatisfaction.
A way of attacking the world, a report on alienation.
A project and a proposition for humanity–provisionally understood as general assembly–, which may be stated as a minimal exigence: to accomplish everything.
One of the most frequent misunderstandings, and one of the most surprising, as to modern teleology, is to assume, because of its insurmountable goal, that it would itself be finished. The framework, even so vast–this programmatic ‘to accomplish everything’–, is only a framework. The matter is to fill it, even if it means it overflows or capsizes. To arrive at finishing everything, everything has to be done.
For us, teleology is only beginning, here and now. The first theoretical verifications are only forming, and the last practical verifications have no imaginable content yet. Wherever there is life, teleology is its very heart. Wherever there is meaning, our trench is open.
