Anyway, I believe that economy is has religion (in accordance with Young Voyer). Economics! Economics!
Economy = economics and nothing else!
And in which
work (and in which page) the Voyer young person does it tell us that?
How about "Report on the state of illusions in our party"? Chapter 4. I don't have the french version available, so the page may vary.
"With economy happened exactly the same thing that happened with religion (...)"
"According to them, economy, as a real thing in the world, should either by dominated or overturned, who knows! As if the atheists insisted, instead of studying religion and its real causes, to deal with God, to try and overturn or dominate God!"
"This world has no more economic reality than it had religious reality at the times of religion".
Chapter 6:
"'The spectacle of the trade is the heir of religion (I.S 6)' If religion istalls a dualism between real life in poverty and imaginary life in heavens, (...), the triumph of the trade installs an equivalent dualism in the world itself (...)"
And numerous other passages in various chapters... After all, if economy is a moral system, the ideology of "rule britannia", then it is the equivalent of religion, which is another moral system, the ideology of "long live the king".
