I have been scavenging the nyet to find out the real skinny on this whole mess. Bob Black is, in my mind, a more reliable, intelligent and witty guy than hogshire could ever hope to be. This alone would seem to indicate that Black (and I have never known him to spout conventional pieties)would be playing outside of his game. After reading both accounts, regardless of the facts, I have more respect for black than previously, and less for hogshire, if that is possible. All one has to do is read the quality of writing that comes from each to realize, hogshire is a little rich baby getting by on his pop-culture-anarchy tidal wave. Bob Black has proven himself time and again to be a man of superior intellect, impeccable writing and untouchable wit. Regardless of the outcome, Bob Black still comes out on top, in my mind.
Besides, do you want to bury the only guy that is making any sense these days, in favor of some grunge-city chump with a fony-tail?
