some days ago, in my local supermarket:
i am standing in the row, in front of me a
woman, age around 25, fashionable short haircut,
sophisticated clothing, looking like an
art-student or something like that.
she is paying her stuff. then the saleswoman aks
her to lift a box of bottles. beneath them
lie some greeting-cards, which she obviously didnīt want to pay for. the saleswoman doesnīt complain, but she has to pay for them. i have
to smile a little bit, because the greeting cards
are so ugly, and because of the nice handling
of this "crime". suddenly the young woman grabs
in her pocket and pulls out a small plastik
card with some small orange sign i canīt recognize
on it. she tells the saleswoman very quiet that
this was a routine control and she has to call
her boss. then she fills out a form and
gives it to her boss. the saleswoman smiles,
everything seems to be ok.
